I like British comedy more, and the US comedy that resembles it


In the Loop is hilarious, as is most of Thick of It. The BBC The Office was much better. And Arrested Development, a US show which is cited here, is probably my favorite US comedy and it is in a distinctly British vein (in fact, check out the scenes in the "America Land" restaurant - a priceless fake British comedic take on what US restaurants must be like).
